Located in South Rocklin and flowing into the burgeoning commercial area of Roseville, Stanford Ranch sits amidst Placer County’s finest shopping district. There’s really nothing that can’t be found in the Stanford Ranch area. High-end communities and upper middle class neighborhoods are tucked quietly away, off main thoroughfares, offering peaceful havens for residents, particularly families.
While the shopping opportunities are extensive (Macy’s, Whole Foods, Cost Plus, Target and nearly every national boutique and specialty store known), so are everyday services, dining options, and recreation. There’s the nearby Roseville Aquatics Center (with Olympic-size pool, zero-depth recreation pool with beach entry, and waterslides), Golfland Sunsplash, laser tag, indoor go-kart racing, bowling, and countless indoor playgrounds for kids to get their wiggles out.
For open-air recreation, there’s Vista Grand Park in the heart of Stanford Ranch, which offers shading trees, multi-level playground, turf area, and half-court basketball. The more extensive Johnson-Springview Park is home to an 18-hole disc golf course, sand volleyball pit, roller hockey rink, skate park, and playground, as well as lighted baseball and soccer fields and a large off-leash park for dogs.
The City of Rocklin offers an array of events and activities for residents of all ages, but one of the most popular is the Kids Junction and Club Rocklin, a before and after-school program operating on all Rocklin Elementary School Campuses. The program is available to children enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade and includes arts and crafts, sports, games, cooking, and science activities.
